Call for Submissions: First Issue of the Journal of Critical Anti-Oppressive Social Inquiry (CAOS)

An initiative of the Centre for Research in Critical Social Inquiry and Action (RCSIA), Based in the School of Social Work, Faculty of Community Services, Ryerson University

The theme of our first issue is Reclaiming AOP: Towards new critical stances. We seek submissions from multiple disciplines (such as social work, disability studies, women’s studies, education, nursing, sociology for example) that not only take up central issues and challenges with Anti-Oppressive Practice (AOP) but put forward reformulations, reconstructions and renewed practices that advance its ethos.

The deadline for submissions is March 31st, 2013.

Written article submissions should follow APA reference style, be a maximum of 5000-6000 words; double spaced; formatted in accordance with submission guidelines and include a separate abstract with key words and a title page with the author(s) name and affiliation.

Founded in 1975, the White Wall Review is a literary journal that provides a space for poets, writers, and artists to showcase their work on a national scale.
